Sewing machine with a 1/4" foot.  This foot is a MUST.

Rotary cutter

Ruler for cutting strips  6" x 24" or something similar

Neutral color thread

Size 12/80 needles

Basic Sewing Supplies

Asst. Light, Medium & Dark Prints and Plaids---at least 24 Fat Quarters

Half of the fabrics were light to medium neutral colors---tan, ivory, beige, wheat.

Half of the fabrics were mediums and darks---red, blue, green, brown, purple---any color will work.

You just need contrast.

Accent Fabric for Setting Triangles and Borders---1 1/2 yards

Outer Border---2 1/2 yards

Binding---1 yard

Backing---5 yards

Scraps work well for this quilt.  You may choose to do some of your cutting before class.
