BSS and sewing machine

1/4" foot

Small pieces of 6-8 different fabrics, 100% cotton and/or silks and stains.  No velvets or thick fabrics.

Fat quarter of muslin or flannel

2 fat quarters of solid or very subtle fabrics.  One for lining and one for panels of purse.

1 1/2 yds of thin cording or rat tail for drawstrings.

Embroidery threads; perle cotton #5 or #8, silk ribbon, etc.

#20 or 22 Chenille needles

Glass beads, buttons, charms, etc.

#10, 11, or 12 sharps or quilting needles for beading

Nymo beading thread

Pinking shears

Buttonhole foot if you have one.

Neutral thread

Freezer paper

This little purse has 6 sides.  Two sides will be Crazy Quilted and the other 4 will be panels that will fold flat.  There will also be a simple version of the same purse with only 2 sides for class.
